Who we are

BooksGoat supplies new and used academic, professional, and trade books to individuals, institutions, and resellers worldwide through booksgoat.ai and its storefronts. These terms govern your use of the site and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Using the site

You may browse, search, and order for lawful purposes only. Prices, availability, and any savings estimates shown are indicative and may change without notice. We may update, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we accept your order and payment is captured, or when we confirm an accepted written quote. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is mispriced, out of stock, or restricted — and will refund any amount already charged.

Pricing, currency and taxes

Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and exclude shipping unless stated. You are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, or local taxes that apply. Wholesale discounts scale with volume and are confirmed on your quote.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Razorpay. We do not store your full card details on our servers. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.

Shipping and returns

Delivery times, costs, and coverage are described in our Delivery policy. Your right to return items and how refunds are handled are described in our Returns policy. Both form part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The site, its content, and its branding are owned by BooksGoat or its licensors. Book titles, cover images, and publisher marks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Limitation of liability

We supply books as described but do not guarantee that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Resale, listing, and tax obligations on inventory you resell are your responsibility.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
